loqqr is a quick-capture tool for saving snippets, links, files, and notes. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we also receive the name and profile photo associated with your Google account.

Content. Any items you save — text, code, links, commands, files, and notes — are stored securely and only accessible to you.

Uploaded files. Files you upload are stored securely and only accessible to you. Files may be set to auto-expire and are permanently deleted after their expiry date.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to provide and improve the loqqr service. We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to third parties. We do not use your content for advertising or to train AI models.

Third-party sign-in

If you sign in with Google, we only access your email, name, and profile picture for authentication purposes. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, calendar, or any other Google services. You can revoke access at any time in your Google account settings.

Data security

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your account is protected by authentication and access controls ensuring only you can see your data. We use industry-standard security practices to protect against unauthorized access.

Data retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Deleted items move to a trash bin and are permanently removed after 30 days. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics.

Your rights

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
